We're building

While we wait for our retreat weekends to fill up we are preparing a new classroom for the teachers. It will be 28feet X 25 feet and will double as a sleeping dorm when complete.

The large sliding glass doors will face the pond, thus giving lots of light to the room.

The whole building is 28X50. The back half will be a wood working shop for Kurt so our house will be less dusty and I will have my dying room inside the house, instead of the garage.

The building will be built of manufactured logs that fit together, tongue and groove style. The following pictures are of a cabin that a friend of ours is putting up as a hunting lodge.

Update on the retreat weekends:
We have two weekends that are a "go". My Aug.7-9 weekend has 10 people signed up and Wendie's purse weekend has 7. Jeanne Field's April weekend has two signed up and I have had lots of interest in many other weekends...all you need to do is register and send a post-dated cheque for $300. for overnighters, $150. for commuters.

This will be our winter project...that will be worked on when the weather permits.
We are in Florida right now for a short 'Christmas' visit with my Dad and his wife. We return on Wed. Dec. 10, late in the day.
I will be travelling in the new year to visit and speak to groups in Ottawa, Montreal and Georgetown and anywhere else that I'm inviteded.
Kurt and I wish everyone a very happy holiday season and all the best in the new year. I hope to see lots of you in the new year.
