Come hook fun cats using different textures and fibres.
April 17-19 …………… Jeanne Field-------------- “Open”
Bring a project and hook all weekend with one of the best hookers ! Get advice & help with all aspects of hooking from dyeing to finishing.
May 1-3…………………..Wendie Scott-Davis ------- "Jeanius Bags"
The ultimate recycling project made from the leg of jeans. It’s the perfect bag to hold wallet & keys for those short errands.
June 5-7 ……..Donna VanDusen-----------“Building Blocks of Rug Hooking”
This is the ideal class for you to learn the basics. Using a simple geometric pattern you will learn to colour plan, basic rug-hooking techniques, and how to finish.
June 26-28……………..Marie Miller-------------“Ewe’ll Get Hooked”
You’ll love hooking sheep with various mediums…fleece, roving, alpaca, mohair etc. The face says it all.
July 10-12 ……………..Iris Simpson--------------“Let’s Play”
Join us and play with proddy, needle felting, creative stitches
and experiment with alternative techniques.
July 24-26 ……….…….Wendie Scott-Davis---------------"Signs"
Hook a sign for a special someone or occasion or a place in your home-a door, stair riser….or hook a saying. A sign isn’t just for WELCOME anymore!

Aug. 7-9 ………….Karen Kaiser--------------- "Conceive, contrive, construct"
Come with an idea, a few pictures, words or images and go home with an original design to hook.
This class is full. The same content will be taught in the Oct30-Nov1 weekend.

August 21-23 ………… Marta Smith-- Doll Artist------------- “Cloth Art Dolls 101”
Learn the basics; the techniques and tricks that make these creatures fun to bring to life. Specialized tools will be provided & only basic sewing skills are required. Use your own lightweight hooking or design fabric for your doll body in class
September 11-13............. Andrea Graham------ “Felt maker Extraordinaire”
Create felted wool with wool fibre, soap, water and energy or with a felting needle. You will magically transform wool fibre into warm and wonderful fabric or sculpture.
September 25-27……… Wendie Scott-Davis------ “Positives of Negative space”
Come and experience the power of negative space.....a very important element of a piece of art….and of course your rug.
October 2-4 …………………Jeanne Field----------- Open
Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of the location and hook to your heart’s content! Any questions, problems or queries about rug hooking, Jeanne can answer them all.
October 30-Nov.1……….…..Karen Kaiser-----------“Art Rugs”
